Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering 1

Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering1 (25091) is a 3-unit course which is provided by the Electrical Engineering (EE) department for non-EE students. This course is a selection of 5 basic EE courses with the main focus on the principles of electronic circuits. The concepts of Electrical Machines (Motors and Generators) and Digital Electronics are also briefly discussed. For students of specific departments (such as Mechanical Engineering), this course is followed by Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering2 course which provides a more detailed review of the Electrical Machines.

It is believed that the succinct introduction of the mentioned concepts will assist the students to become aware of practical tools which may help them in their majors. To render the course more attractive, usually deep analysis of the subjects is avoided, though some hints for further details are usually pointed out.
